Carry the Joy of Jesus: Make a Ripple

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
Matthew 28:19-20

Permission slips, lunches and ballots!

I have compiled options for the eighth grade trip and have a list of sorts for you today. This was much more difficult than I would have thought. Janet Papke and Sue Davis have been busy sending me ideas, and I am driving the travel agent nuts with plans and alternate plans. Please read the various plans and ideas, and let me know what appeals to you by Friday or Monday at the latest. Again, the options came home today. Please respond on the ballot provided as soon as possible. Thank you.

We will attend Flipped tomorrow afternoon at 12:20. We will be leaving school at 11:45. Thank you drivers for agreeing to chaperone on such short notice, and for those who were willing to go but were not needed. Drivers, please be by the eighth grade door by 11:40. Thank you. Students, remember your permission slips and lunches!

Good news! We were able to get tickets to the Diary of Anne Frank on Monday, October 18 at 10 A.M., Romeo and Juliet on Monday, February 14, 2011 at 10:00 A.M., and The Secret Life of Bees, on Tuesday, March 22 at 1:00 P.M. I will be sending home a permission slip for all three and a request for $15 to cover the cost of all three. I also ordered four adult tickets, in addition to mine, at $10 a piece, for each play. I think we can get them there in five cars. If you would like to chaperone any of these trips, and know now, let me know on the permission slip. Otherwise we will figure out drivers closer to each event. Thank you.
