I am compiling options for the eighth grade trip and hope to have a list of sorts to you tomorrow. This is much more difficult than I would have thought. Janet Papke and Sue Davis have been busy sending me ideas, and I am driving the travel agent nuts with plans and alternate plans. Please read the various plans and ideas, and let me know what appeals to you by Friday or Monday at the latest. Again, the options will come home tomorrow. Thanks you.
Flipped has just appeared in the theaters, so we are going to put the pedal to the metal and try to pull off going this Friday at 12:20. I will be calling parents about driving, but if you read this and are available Friday about 11:30, please give me a call. (586-918-1071)
Good news! We were able to get tickets to the Diary of Anne Frank on Monday, October 18 at 10 A.M., Romeo and Juliet on Monday, February 14, 2011 at 10:00 A.M., and The Secret Life of Bees, on Tuesday, March 22 at 1:00 P.M. I will be sending home a permission slip for all three and a request for $15 to cover the cost of all three. I also ordered four adult tickets, in addition to mine, at $10 a piece, for each play. I think we can get them there in five cars. If you would like to chaperon any of these trips, and know now, let me know on the permission slip. Otherwise we will figure out drivers closer to each event. Thank you.
