Carry the Joy of Jesus: Make a Ripple

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
Matthew 28:19-20

miercoles: Covenant House Candlelight Vigil for Homelessness tomorrow evening.

Drivers to Covenant House are Mrs. Collins, Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Budzak, Mrs. Napier and Mr. Smith.  Anyone else who would like to join us is welcome.  We will leave about 5:15 at the latest.  I will try to have pizza here by 4:30.  Thank you so much for your support in this endeavor.  Friday morning is Future Freshman Day at Lutheran North.

The rehearsals for the Christmas play this week are Tuesday and Thursday during school and after school until 4:30. Tuesday afternoon is scenes 1 and 4. Thursday morning is scenes 5 and 6, and Thursday afternoon is scenes 5-8.

On Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 6:00 P.M. the class will be going to Covenant House Michigan for the International Candlelight Vigil on Homelessness. All of you are welcome. Students may stay after school to complete their homework and we will have dinner before we leave around 5:00P.M.

On Friday, November 19, 2010 the entire class will be going to Future Freshman Day at Lutheran High North. It is a great way for students to get a feel for high school life and get a look inside life at LHN. Parents who are interested in learning more about LHN or high school in general are encouraged to attend. It is from 9:00A.M. - 12:15 P.M. A pizza lunch is provided.

The number of travelers to New York City has increased to 38. At present we have 17 students and 21 chaperones. The reduced price of the trip is $784.30. Bills will be coming out shortly.

Have a great weekend in the Lord,

Sally Buss
