Carry the Joy of Jesus: Make a Ripple

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
Matthew 28:19-20

viernes: Have a great weekend! Choir sings on Sunday.

MEAP tests began, Tuesday, October 12. Please encourage your students to eat a good breakfast and to get to bed early each night until the MEAP is over next Wednesday. I will try to control myself, so they will not have too much homework. J We have arranged for students to have nutritious snacks each day before the MEAP and at breaks. If your student would like something other than what we have, however, they are welcome to bring their own snack. Seventh and eighth graders have MEAPS on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.

The number of travelers to New York City has increased. At present we have 17 students and 21 chaperones. The travel agent is refiguring the price of the trip.

Monday, October 18 is the trip to the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts to see The Diary of Anne Frank. (See below) Thank you Mrs. Buzik, Mrs. Harder, and Mrs. Davis for your willingness to drive on Monday. I am still missing a few permission slips.

Have a great weekend in the Lord,

Sally Buss

Old but good news! We were able to get tickets to the Diary of Anne Frank on Monday, October 18 at 10 A.M., Romeo and Juliet on Monday, February 14, 2011 at 10:00 A.M., and The Secret Life of Bees, on Tuesday, March 22 at 1:00 P.M. I also ordered four adult tickets, in addition to mine, at $10 a piece, for each play. I think we can get students there in five cars. If you would like to chaperone any of these trips, and know now, let me know on the permission slip. Otherwise, we will figure out drivers closer to each event. Thank you.

Please bring in your signed midterm and permission slip for the field trip on Monday.

Please bring hand sanitizer for hygiene kits for Family of God ministry!
