Cookies and Parent/Teacher Conference Requests Needed Tomorrow!
Tryouts for the Christmas play went very well today. However, everyone will need to subscribe to "no small parts, just small actors". It will be a great production thanks to the many, varied talents of our students. We will have a few call backs tomorrow for a few minutes after school and hope to post results, early next week.
Please remember to bring back your request for conference form on Friday, if it has not come back with a younger brother or sister.
Please, don't forget the cookies for Covenant House. We are excited about this opportunity to support Covenant House.
Friday, October 29, there will be a Trinity School Dress Down Day for Covenant House Michigan, a homeless shelter for teens in the metropolitan Detroit area. Eighth graders will be baking cookies at home to sell to students on that Friday. The proceeds, in combination with the money earned from the Dress Down Day, will be donated to Covenant House Michigan at the International Candlelight Vigil for Homelessness on November 18 at Covenant House Michigan in Detroit. Eighth grade will attend that vigil and make the donation on behalf of the school that night. Cookies should be packaged in sandwich bags, two to a bag. We will sell the coolies for .50 per bag. Thank you for allowing your eighth grader to participate, if possible. Again, this is next Friday, the 29th.

Just a reminder, there is no school on Friday. The teachers have a conference to attend.
Next Friday, October 29, there will be a Trinity School Dress Down Day for Covenant House Michigan, a homeless shelter for teens in the metropolitan Detroit area.
On Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 6:00 P.M. the class will be going to Covenant House Michigan for the International Candlelight Vigil on Homelessness. All of you are welcome.
On Friday, November 19, 2010 the entire class will be going to Future Freshman Day at Lutheran High North. It is a great way for students to get a feel for high school life and get a look inside life at LHN. Parents who are interested in learning more about LHN or high school in general are encouraged to attend. It is from 9:00A.M. - 12:15 P.M. A pizza lunch is provided.
The number of travelers to New York City has increased to 38. At present we have 17 students and 21 chaperones. The reduced price of the trip is $784.30.
Thank you Mrs. Buzik, Mrs. Harder, and Mrs. Davis for your willingness to drive to the Macomb Center on Monday.
Have a great week in the Lord,
Sally Buss
