The eighth grade trip is the evening of Sunday, May 1 to the early morning of Thursday, May 5. Students will not attend school on the 5th; they will return to school Friday morning. I will hold a “mandatory” parent meeting for the eighth grade trip on Thursday, April 14. Every family should attend if possible, and every chaperone should attend, again, if possible. It will be at 7:00 P.M. in the eighth grade room and will last approximately one hour. I need to have the meeting sooner than later, so let me know if this date is a problem. I will have copies of the itinerary and more than you ever wanted to know about traveling to NYC with 17 eighth graders…and me!

The number of travelers to New York City has increased again. At present we have 17 students and 20 chaperones. The price of the trip is $784.30. Bills were distributed a few weeks ago and were sent out again last Tuesday.

Bills came home today for the eighth grade trip. I must pay the final bill immediately. If you are having trouble paying your bill right now, please let me know so I can cover you with school funds until you can pay it. Students each made $141.61 on the pancake breakfast. Great job!
Congratulations Talent Festival competitors. You are all rock stars! Thank you for tireless efforts and dedication. Many, many folks were impressed by you.
